These policies explain the terms under which Kasies Rentals & Logistics Services Limited (“Kasies”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides vehicle rental, chauffeur-driven transport, airport transfers and logistics services.

By using our website, requesting a quotation or booking a service, you agree to the terms applicable to that service. We will communicate any material service-specific terms before you confirm your booking. Nothing in these policies removes any consumer right or legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded under Nigerian law.

⸻

POLICY 1: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Use of Our Website

Our website provides information about our services, vehicles, availability and prices. You agree to use the website lawfully and provide accurate information when making enquiries or bookings.

You must not misuse our website, attempt unauthorised access, submit fraudulent booking information or use our services for unlawful purposes.

2. Our Services

Subject to availability and confirmation, Kasies may provide:

* Self-drive vehicle rentals.
* Chauffeur-driven vehicle rentals.
* Airport pickups and drop-offs.
* Personal, corporate and event transportation.
* Wedding and special-occasion transport.
* Local and interstate transportation.
* Logistics, delivery and related transport services.

The vehicle, service type, pickup and return times, mileage arrangements, destination, total price and other applicable conditions will be confirmed in your booking details.

Vehicle photographs are illustrative where indicated. A particular vehicle or model is not guaranteed until we confirm it. If we need to substitute a vehicle, we will notify you and obtain your agreement to any material change in price or service.

3. Booking and Confirmation

A booking request is not automatically a confirmed reservation.

To book, provide the requested information, including your name, contact details, service type, date, time, location and any relevant requirements.

We will confirm availability, the agreed price, the required deposit, the remaining balance and other relevant terms.

A booking is confirmed when Kasies accepts the reservation and the agreed deposit has been received, unless we expressly confirm another arrangement in writing.

Customers should obtain a booking confirmation and payment receipt for every transaction.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices will be communicated in Nigerian naira (₦), unless another currency is expressly agreed.

The quotation will identify the applicable rental or service charge and any additional costs, such as delivery, fuel, tolls, parking, extra mileage, waiting time, security arrangements or applicable taxes, where relevant.

Our standard payment arrangement is:

1. A deposit is payable to secure the booking.
2. The remaining balance must be paid before the service begins or the vehicle is released.
3. Any additional charges must be explained and supported by the applicable booking terms or actual costs.
4. Payment must be made through an authorised payment channel provided by Kasies.

The deposit amount, payment deadline and any applicable security deposit must be disclosed before payment. A security deposit, if required, is separate from the booking deposit and will be subject to the agreed terms.

Do not send money to an account that has not been verified as an authorised Kasies payment channel.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

* Provide accurate booking and identification details.
* Read and comply with the relevant rental or service terms.
* Pay agreed charges by the specified deadlines.
* Treat our drivers, staff, vehicles and other customers respectfully.
* Notify us promptly of changes, delays, accidents or service issues.
* Use our services only for lawful purposes.

Additional requirements may apply to self-drive rentals, chauffeur-driven services and logistics bookings.

6. Changes to Bookings

Requests to change a date, time, vehicle, destination, rental duration or service type are subject to availability and our written confirmation.

A change may affect the price. We will explain any additional charge before proceeding.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee availability.

7. Delays and Service Interruptions

Traffic, severe weather, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, security incidents, government restrictions and other events may affect service delivery.

We will communicate material delays as soon as reasonably practicable and work with the customer to identify a reasonable solution.

Where we cannot provide the confirmed service, applicable refund, replacement or other remedies will be handled under the booking agreement and Nigerian law.

8. Complaints and Disputes

Customers should first contact us using the details provided on our website. We will review the complaint and endeavour to resolve it fairly and promptly.

Nothing in these terms prevents a customer from approaching the appropriate regulatory authority or a court of competent jurisdiction.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, our business name, logo, original website text, graphics and other original content belong to Kasies or are used with permission. They may not be copied or commercially exploited without appropriate authorisation.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services, operations or applicable law. We will publish the revised version with an updated effective date.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already accrued to a customer. Material changes affecting a confirmed booking will be communicated to the customer.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to applicable consumer rights and the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent, subject to lawful limitations and any separate legal basis for retaining or processing information.

5. Sharing Your Information

We may share relevant information with authorised personnel and service providers where necessary to deliver our services. These may include:

* Assigned drivers and transport or delivery partners.
* Payment processors and financial institutions.
* Website hosting, booking software and technical support providers.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Where information is transferred to another organisation or outside Nigeria, we will take steps required by applicable data-protection law.

6. Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, loss or misuse.

No online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including contractual, accounting, insurance, dispute-resolution and legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we will take appropriate steps to delete it or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable law.

Our website may link to external payment services, maps, social media platforms or other websites. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Please review their privacy notices before providing information.

POLICY 3: CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING AND REFUND POLICY

1. General Principle

We understand that plans can change. Kasies aims to handle cancellations, rescheduling requests and refunds fairly and transparently.

The cancellation conditions applicable to a booking will be communicated before the customer pays. This policy does not remove any refund or cancellation right provided by Nigerian law.

2. Customer Cancellations

Customers should submit cancellation requests through our official contact channels and provide their booking reference, name and scheduled service date.

The following framework applies, subject to the cancellation terms disclosed and agreed for the booking:

* Early cancellation: Where sufficient notice is given, we will assess the refund due after accounting for any lawful, reasonable and previously disclosed charges.
* Late cancellation: A reasonable cancellation charge may apply where it was disclosed before booking and reflects permitted costs or losses.
* No-show: If a customer fails to appear or make the agreed arrangements, we will contact them where reasonably practicable and assess any refund in line with the disclosed booking terms and applicable law.
* Rescheduling: We will attempt to move the booking to another available date. Any price difference or reasonable, disclosed rescheduling charge will be communicated before confirmation.

No cancellation charge will be imposed where prohibited by law. Any term restricting a refund must be clearly communicated before the customer commits to the booking.

3. Cancellation by Kasies

If Kasies cannot provide a confirmed service, we will notify the customer as soon as reasonably practicable.

Depending on the circumstances and customer agreement, we may offer:

* A suitable replacement vehicle or service.
* An alternative date or time.
* A refund for the service not provided, in accordance with applicable law and the booking terms.

A customer will not be required to accept a materially different service without agreement.

4. Deposits and Security Deposits

The booking deposit reserves the service or vehicle for the agreed period. Whether any part may be retained following cancellation depends on the terms disclosed before payment, the circumstances and applicable law.

A security deposit, where applicable, is distinct from a booking deposit. It will be accounted for separately and any permitted deduction will be explained.

We will not treat every deposit as automatically non-refundable regardless of the circumstances.

5. Refund Process

To request a refund, contact kasiesjoe@gmail.com or our published customer support channel with your booking reference, payment evidence and reason for the request.

We will acknowledge and assess the request, confirm any applicable deduction and provide a reasonable processing timeline. Where a refund is approved, we will normally return it through the original payment method where practicable, or another mutually agreed method.

The time required for funds to appear may depend on the bank or payment provider.

6. Disputes About Charges

If you disagree with a cancellation charge or deduction, contact us with the relevant booking and payment details. We will review the records and explain our decision.

Customers retain any applicable statutory rights and may seek redress through the appropriate consumer-protection authority or court.

⸻

POLICY 4: CAR RENTAL POLICY

1. Rental Options

Kasies offers two main rental options, subject to availability:

Self-drive: The customer rents the vehicle and is responsible for driving it during the agreed rental period.

Chauffeur-driven: Kasies provides a vehicle with an assigned driver for the agreed service, duration and route.

The quotation and booking confirmation will identify the selected option, vehicle, rental period, price, included services and any applicable limitations.

2. Self-Drive Eligibility and Verification

Before releasing a vehicle for self-drive use, Kasies may require the customer to:

* Meet the minimum age and experience requirements communicated for the particular vehicle.
* Present a valid driver’s licence recognised for the intended use in Nigeria.
* Provide appropriate identity and contact verification.
* Sign the rental agreement and complete the vehicle handover inspection.
* Pay the agreed rental charges and any disclosed security deposit.
* Satisfy any reasonable and lawful verification requirements relevant to vehicle security and insurance.

Eligibility requirements may vary by vehicle category and insurer. We will communicate them before confirming the rental.

A booking may be declined where the customer cannot meet lawful, disclosed eligibility or verification requirements. Any payment already made will be handled fairly under the applicable terms and law.

3. Rental Period and Return

The booking confirmation will specify the pickup time, return deadline and agreed rental duration.

Customers must return the vehicle at the agreed location and time unless an extension has been approved in writing.

Requests for an extension must be made before the scheduled return time. Approval depends on availability and may involve additional rental charges.

Late-return charges, where applicable, must be disclosed in advance and be reasonable and lawful. Additional costs caused by an unauthorised extension may be recoverable where permitted by the rental agreement and applicable law.

4. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

At handover, the customer and Kasies representative should inspect the vehicle and record visible existing damage, fuel level, mileage and relevant accessories.

Customers should report any discrepancy before departure. Photographs or a signed inspection report may be used to document the vehicle’s condition.

On return, the vehicle will be inspected for new damage, missing items and other issues, with reference to the handover record.

Customers will not be charged for ordinary wear and tear. Any claim for damage must be assessed fairly and supported by reasonable evidence.

5. Fuel, Mileage, Tolls and Parking

The booking confirmation will state the fuel-return arrangement, any mileage allowance and any applicable excess-mileage charge.

Unless otherwise agreed, customers are responsible for fuel consumed during their rental and for tolls, parking fees, traffic fines and other charges arising from their use of the vehicle, to the extent legally attributable to them.

Any administrative fee must be disclosed in advance and be reasonable and lawful.

6. Permitted and Prohibited Use

Vehicles must be used responsibly and only for lawful purposes.

Unless expressly authorised in writing, customers must not:

* Use the vehicle for unlawful activities, racing or dangerous driving.
* Drive under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs or impairing substances.
* Allow an unauthorised person to drive the vehicle.
* Sublet, sell, pledge or transfer possession of the vehicle.
* Use the vehicle for towing, off-road driving or commercial activities not covered by the booking.
* Tamper with tracking, safety or security equipment.
* Take the vehicle outside an agreed geographical area or across an international border.
* Overload the vehicle beyond its permitted capacity.

Any restriction will be applied consistently with applicable law and the rental agreement.

7. Accidents, Breakdowns and Theft

In the event of an accident, breakdown, theft or other emergency, the customer must prioritise personal safety, contact the appropriate emergency services where necessary and notify Kasies promptly.

Customers should not admit liability on behalf of Kasies, authorise major repairs or abandon the vehicle without communicating with us, except where necessary to protect life or comply with the law.

We will provide reasonable assistance in accordance with the booking arrangement and available support.

Responsibility for repair costs, insurance excesses or other losses will depend on the facts, the rental agreement, applicable insurance cover and Nigerian law. We will not automatically charge a customer for every incident irrespective of fault or circumstances.

8. Insurance and Liability

Before the rental begins, the applicable insurance arrangements, relevant exclusions and any customer excess or deductible should be explained in the rental agreement.

Customers must cooperate with reasonable insurance and incident-reporting procedures.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including applicable obligations relating to negligence, fraud, misrepresentation or consumer protection.

9. Chauffeur-Driven Rentals

For chauffeur-driven services:

* Kasies will provide a driver for the confirmed route and time, subject to availability.
* Customers should provide accurate pickup and destination details.
* Additional stops, route changes, waiting time and extended hours may incur additional charges if communicated and agreed.
* Customers must treat drivers respectfully and must not request unsafe or unlawful driving.
* Drivers may refuse an instruction that would breach traffic laws, safety requirements or other legal obligations.
* If the assigned driver or vehicle becomes unavailable, Kasies will communicate the issue and work towards a reasonable alternative or other appropriate remedy.
* Unless specifically agreed, the customer does not take possession of the vehicle for independent driving under a chauffeur-driven booking.

10. Security Deposits and Damage Claims

Where a security deposit is required, the amount, purpose, refund process and permitted deductions must be disclosed before payment.

Deductions must be supported by the rental agreement and reasonable evidence of a charge for which the customer is responsible.

Any undisputed balance should be returned within the period communicated in the rental agreement. If an investigation is needed, we will explain the reason for the delay and provide an update.

11. Vehicle Substitution and Availability

Vehicle availability may change due to maintenance, safety concerns or unforeseen circumstances.

If the booked vehicle becomes unavailable, Kasies will notify the customer and seek agreement on a suitable alternative. If a suitable alternative cannot be agreed, the customer will be offered the applicable remedy, including a refund where required by law.

⸻

POLICY 5: LOGISTICS AND DELIVERY POLICY

1. Scope of Logistics Services

Kasies may provide local or interstate transport, pickup and delivery, parcel or goods movement, and other logistics services confirmed in writing.

Each booking should identify the nature of the goods, collection and delivery locations, intended delivery window, agreed charges and any special handling requirements.

2. Customer Information and Packaging

Customers must provide accurate sender and recipient details, delivery addresses, contact numbers, item descriptions and relevant instructions.

Items should be packaged securely and appropriately for their size, weight, fragility and transport conditions.

Customers must disclose any special handling needs before the booking is accepted.

3. Prohibited or Restricted Items

Customers must not tender goods that are illegal to possess or transport, hazardous materials that we are not authorised or equipped to carry, explosives, illegal drugs, unlawfully possessed weapons or other items prohibited by law.

Items requiring special permits, declarations or handling must be disclosed and accepted in writing before transport.

Kasies may refuse, suspend or report a shipment where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance or fraud prevention.

4. Delivery Times and Delays

Delivery estimates are based on the information available at the time of booking and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed as a guaranteed service in writing.

Traffic, weather, road closures, security incidents, incorrect addresses, recipient unavailability and other unforeseen events may affect delivery.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of material delays and provide updated information where available.

5. Delivery Confirmation

Where practicable, delivery may be confirmed through a recipient acknowledgement, signature, message, photograph or other appropriate record.

Customers should ensure the recipient is available and that delivery instructions are accurate.

If delivery cannot be completed, we will contact the customer to arrange a reasonable next step. Any additional delivery or storage charge must be communicated and lawful.

6. Loss, Damage and Claims

Customers should inspect delivered goods promptly and report any apparent loss or damage as soon as reasonably practicable, providing the booking reference, item description and available evidence.

Kasies will investigate the matter fairly. Responsibility and any compensation will depend on the service agreement, evidence, applicable insurance and Nigerian law.

No exclusion in this policy removes a consumer’s statutory rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Charges and Payment

The quotation will state the agreed transport charge and any disclosed additional charges for distance, special handling, waiting, additional stops, failed delivery or other requested services.

The standard booking deposit and balance-before-service arrangement applies unless another arrangement is agreed in writing.

8. Customer Support

For questions, delays, delivery issues or claims, contact Kasies through the business email or published customer support number, quoting the booking reference.
